چکیده
Abstract An appropriate road network imposes on planners take into account factors such as land use, slope, soil type, hydrology, and agricultural area. Due to various considerations desires, the planning process is difficult hence there may be confusion in interest decision-making process. The use of a geographic information system (GIS) Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) assist achieving more detailed desirable results. Thus, reducing complexity helping stakeholders for drawing general conclusion. study site was chosen an area between cities Ramadi Heet Anbar Province, western Iraq, where it suffers from congestion traffic accidents. This research aims integrate set evaluation criteria using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) spatial multicriteria model find optimal path In this study, two alternate paths were proposed compared with current best path. Finally, results indicated that first alternative 36% better. succeeded proving possible decide rural highway route GIS MCDA.

Industrial landfill site selection using Analytical Hierarchy Process (Case study: Razi industrial town of Isfahan-Iran)
Suitable landfill site selection is a significant step in the integrated management of solid waste. Because of some dangerous industrial waste, landfill site selection is more important. The selection process should be considered different criteria. The purpose of this study was to determine the appropriate location of industrial waste landfill Razi complex by using Analytical Hierarchy Process...
متن کاملRoute Lifetime Based Optimal Hop Selection in VANETs on Highway: An Analytical Viewpoint
We consider the problem of optimal next-hop selection in a route between two vehicles, for a simple scenario of Vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) on a highway. For a given approximation of the optimal number of hops, we seek the optimal choice of next-hop based on its speed and inter-node distances, so as to maximize the expected route lifetime. Under a Markovian assumption on the process of s...

Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), as a multiple criteria decision making tools especially in the problems with spatial nature or GIS-based. In addition this study treats the steps AHP, its manner to apply and its weaknesses and strengths and ultimately the fuzzy modified Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) which is proposed after that the concepts like of fuzziness, uncertainty and vagueness ...

The work described in this paper was conducted at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and North Carolina State University. The study used the increased capabilities offered by geographic information systems (GISs), along with the detailed mapping (which contains highway features and geometrics) available for Guilford County, North Carolina, to demonstrate the use of engin...
متن کاملComposite Manufacturing Process Selection Using Analytical Hierarchy Process
This paper describes an approach, based on the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) that assists decision makers or manufacturing engineers determining the most appropriate manufacturing process to be employd in manufacturing of composite automotive bumper beam at the early stage of product development process. There are 5 types of processes under consideration namely injection moulding (IM), res...
